Not a valid Win32 Application

If you get the  "Not a valid Win32 Application"  error, then the problem is, in all probability, that you have ended up with an incomplete download of The Ultimate Troubleshooter (TUT 4.42 is 19,909,688 bytes).  The incomplete download is caused by an Internet Explorer cache problem this issue does not occur with other web browsers.

You will need to re-download TUT.  You can re-download TUT either from the link in your Order Confirmation email, or anywhere on our website  (the file you get from the order confirmation email is no different from the file you can download from our website it is still a demo file which you need to enable by using the registration details in your Order Confirmation email).

Before you re-download The Ultimate Troubleshooter, however, please do the following in Internet Explorer :


If you have Internet Explorer 6

  1. Choose the  "Tools \ Internet Options"  menu option.
     
  2. Click on  DELETE FILES..
     
  3. Check  DELETE ALL OFFLINE CONTENT.
     
  4. Click OK.
     
  5. OK your way out.
     
  6. Close Internet Explorer.
     
  7. Open Internet Explorer and try to download TUT again.
     

If you have Internet Explorer 7

  1. Choose the  "Tools \ Internet Options"  menu option.
     
  2. In the  "Browsing History"  section on the GENERAL tab click on DELETE.
     
  3. In the  "Temporary Internet Files"  section at the top, click on DELETE FILES.
     
  4. Answer  YES  to  "Are you sure you want to delete all temporary Internet Explorer files".
     
  5. Click CLOSE.
     
  6. Click OK.
     
  7. Close Internet Explorer.
     
  8. Open Internet Explorer and try to download TUT again.
